Starting today, fans of CBS’ hit Friday night series Blue Bloods will have the opportunity to select which episodes they want to rerun this fall when CBS will be running classic episodes as opposed to new episodes as a result of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
The voting starts today and will conclude Friday, Sept. 8. Then the first fan-selected episode will air Friday, Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the normal time slot for the police/family drama, and continue throughout the season.
There are 275 episodes—13 seasons—but producers have narrowed the list down to 10 episodes to vote from. Votes can be submitted on the @CBSBlueBloods page on Facebook.
The Facebook site also includes a curated list highlighting memorable character arcs, pivotal character introductions and some of the numerous outstanding guest stars who have appeared on the series throughout its 13-year run to aid in the decision-making process.
Stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez and Vanessa Ray are set to return for the 14th season once the strikes are resolved.
Blue Bloods ranks as Friday’s No. 1 primetime program as well as the No. 3 broadcast drama, securing 9.4 million viewers, according to CBS.
In the meantime, all seasons of the show are available to stream on Paramount+.
